My strengths lie in tailoring my tutoring curriculum to the student’s individual needs and keeping sessions productive and accessible.

The LSAT is not a test of innate intelligence. It is designed to test your critical reasoning abilities under time-intensive conditions. Like many standardized tests, the LSAT is based on core principles that can be learned, exercised, and refined. I present methods for identifying and understanding the specific question types encountered on the exam, while providing a detailed evaluation of each individual student's strengths and weaknesses.

As your instructor, my objective is to provide you the fundamental knowledge required to answer any kind of question on the test, no matter its difficulty level. By using my strategies, you will be able to “check” each answer choice as you go against the strategy and then move on confidently to the next problem similar to a geometry proof. Many tutors use a more intuitive approach that can leave you stranded when an answer doesn’t immediately pop out at you as correct.  By using visuals, analogies, and structured proofing techniques, I turn complex concepts into recognizable patterns you can apply across the exam. 

Many of my students and I also work together to improve their supplemental essays and personal statements. I am able to direct students toward essays that most effectively showcase their abilities because I typically have already gotten to know them over the exam preparation process. Students rely on me to make sure the tone and style of their writings ring both professional and authentic to their personalities.
